The committee has released a preliminary list of 703 eligible applicants for houses and demanded them to report to the Ministry of Public Works to complete the required paper work for final approval.
The committee has granted these houses after thoroughly reviewing findings of a field study commissioned by the Court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, which contained lists of prospective homeowners.
Ahmed Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the committee, said the houses were granted to applicants who had satisfied all requirements and criteria for getting government houses in implementation of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directives to provide citizens with highest standards of living conditions and to establish modern infrastructure across the emirates, and the follow up by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
