Colonel Mohammed Jassim AL Zaabi, Director of Port Police Station, said police patrols found some motorists and people with water bikes on Dubai beaches who were disturbing families and tourists.
He said that some of the people were carrying their dogs which disturbed the families and children. He said that the beach inspection drive had been launched to keep a vigil on trouble-makers who go to the beaches not to enjoy but to bother other visitors.
Now CID officers have been deputed in various parts of Dubai shore and the port police station has been asked to take strict action against anybody found creating trouble or misbehaving with the beach-goers, he stressed.
Meanwhile, officials of the Dubai Municipality also said that they were doing everything possible to ensure safety of beach-goers. The officials of the Public Parks section, which looks after the beaches stated that they are always putting up notices containing ‘dos and don’ts’ for the people.
