40 religious scholars invited for Ramadan
ABU DHABI — As per the instructions of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, some 40 renowned religious scholars have been invited to come to the UAE and preach during the holy month of Ramadan.
This was informed by Dr Mohammed Matter Al Kaabi, director general of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Awqaf.
The President’s decision is aimed at enriching people’s awareness on religion. The 40 scholars and preachers come from the Arab and Islamic countries.
