A CID officer said the police received a tipoff from a source about the gang. The police formed a team of officers who with in a short time managed to identify the suspects and their location.

The team laid a trap in coordination with one of the targeted outlets whose manager informed the police about the arrival of the suspects. The police arrested two men and the woman.

During interrogation they confessed that they had brought the credit cards from a foreign country under the guidance of someone living in Dubai. The police in coordination with the Dubai Police arrested the fourth suspect.

The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Colonel Mohammed Rashid bin Bayat, Director of the Investigation and Search Department of the Sharjah Police, is working hard to control such types of crimes.

The police recently managed to arrest several members of a gang who came from a foreign country to commit frauds which would badly affect the economic development of the country by causing huge losses to trade and commerce.
