Four buses are to journey from Ramadan Village to Dubai Media City through the streets of Dubai to gather a large number of people of various nationalities. The bus with the biggest number of nationalities is declared as the winning bus.

The bus ride will continue to be a highlight during 'Dubai the City that Cares 2004' Campaign. The event will also broadcast by Arabian Radio Network, giving residents a chance to join in this unified event.

The first ride saw four buses leaving the Ramadan Village at 9pm and driving through the city streets and incited what seemed like a global festival of nationalities where participants served one purpose: to promote and encourage all the aspects of 'Dubai the City that Cares 2004'. The Al Arabia Bus, in which 36 nationalities mingled and blended, reached the finish line first. The Hit FM Bus arrived soon after with 25 nationalities, the City FM Bus came in third with 23 nationalities, and the Al Khaleejiah Bus arrived last with 20 nationalities.

Each of the 36 individuals on the winning Al Arabia Bus was offered a watch prize worth Dh1,500 provided by the Dubai the City that Cares and the Arabian Radio Network and all the participants in the four buses received Dh25 voucher to spend at the Dubai Media City Ramadan Village.

Each participant of the Multinational Fun Bus competition was able to get acquainted with different and interesting personalities, some even establishing a foundation for a friendship. All were keen on a successful and enjoyable 'Dubai the City that Cares 2004' campaign, and were grateful to the organisers of the event.

Among the passengers was Gillian Bradil, a French national who expressed his enthusiasm for such an event, and demonstrated his gratitude to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Arabian Radio Network for opening the door to such a unique and culturally binding events.

Mrs Isabella De Kearo, a Spanish national, said the programme was a bridge between the East and West, where many individuals of different nationalities came together as brothers and sisters, sharing their culture and traditions.

The Multinational Fun Bus ended that day on a positive note, with the hope that more nationalities will unite at next week's Multinational Fun Bus competition.
