34 students to sit for Dhaka board exams

ABU DHABI — Thirty-four standard 11 students of different Bangladeshi schools in the UAE are taking the Dhaka Board of Secondary Examinations (DBSE).

Twenty-two students from Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Bangladesh Islamia School in Abu Dhabi are appearing in the examinations at the Bangladeshi embassy in the capital and the 12 other students are from Bangladesh Islamia School in Ras Al Khaimah. They are taking the examinations at their school itself.

The examination began on March 27 and are going to end on April 27.

The standard 12 board examinations will begin in May-end.

Deputy chief and counsellor at the Bangladeshi embassy Mohammad Shahid Bakhtiar Alam said, “The students taking the examinations at the embassy are very happy as they felt comfortable here. The question papers were also easy. Our intention is to hold the examinations in a convenient environment.”
