3,103 workers involved in 1,701 disputes
ABU DHABI - About 3,103 labourers from all over the emirates were involved in 1,701 labour disputes, cases which had been filed with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs over the past month.
According to a report, the 606 labour complaints lodged at the ministry included 1,451 workers in Abu Dhabi, out of whom 1,199 workers were involved in 745 disputes in Dubai, 169 labourers from Sharjah involved in 124 complaints, while in Ajman 33 compaints including 39 workers were lodged at the Labour Relations Department.
