Virgin Megastore opens new outlet

Retail entertainment chain Virgin Megastore has reported a double-digit growth of 15 per cent year-on-year in its revenues in the UAE, on the back of rising consumer confidence in the country.

The retail giant, which has 14 outlets in the region including Egypt and Jordan, is bullish on the market recovery in Bahrain and Egypt that has led to the handsome increase in earnings, Virgin Megastore Middle East and North Africa president Nisreen Shocair told Khaleej Times in Abu Dhabi, where she officially opened its newest store in Al Wahda Mall, one of Abu Dhabi’s top shopping destinations.
