Dh5.6m to help 249 needy families

DUBAI - A total of Dh5.6 million was donated by Dubai Islamic Humanitarian Foundation to help 249 families during the past nine months.

The donation was used to pay off school fees for children of 183 families, help four hospitals purchase dialysis units and ultrasound imaging equipment, pay rents for 60 families and to pay healthcare bills for 24 families, CEO of the foundation Abdul Razzak Abdullah said.

Dubai Islamic Humanitarian Foundation is the non-profit subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and helps needy nationals and expatriates.
