Ruler of Fujairah pardons 42 prisoners
Fujairah - His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah has ordered the release of 42 prison inmates of different nationalities from the Penal and Correctional Institutions.
The released prisoners had proved good conduct, while serving their various jail terms.
Al Sharqi’s gesture brings joy to the families and relatives of the released prisoners ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Brig. Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Ka’abi, General Commander of Fujairah Police hailed the Ruler of Fujairah for his humanitarian gesture, wishing the move would help the released prisoners reintegrate into community and correct their previous conduct.
