Sharjah closes Kurtuba Roundabout from Feb 12

The Directorate of Public Works has announced that the Rashid Bin Khadim Roundabout will be closed on Saturday for two weeks in order to carry out maintenance works.

The Roundabout, which is also known as Kurtuba Roundabout, is located along Al Sharq Road, near the intersection that is parallel to Bu Tina, Majarrah and Al Naba’a.

Traffic along the Roundabout will be diverted to alternative routes. Officials noted that the renovation works carried out is in response to public demand.

Amal Al Khamis, Acting Director General at the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), said that the renovation project cost a total of Dh1.5 million.
