Emirates offers free hotel stay to first class, business passengers
DUBAI -Emirates Airline is offering its first and business class passengers a free hotel stay in Dubai as part of promotions for the city.
Passengers travelling to or via Dubai between July 1 and August 31 can take advantage of the offer.
First Class Passengers receive two nights at The Palace - The Old Town or The Harbour Hotel and Residence. Business Class passengers receive one night's stay at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel or The Harbour Hotel and Residence.
In addition, $100 credit per person at the hotel to be used towards food and beverage and/or spa facilities and a 96-hour visa.
Dnata centres are the best
DNATA Contact Centres has been named the Best Call Centre at the 2008 Middle East Call Centre Awards. The Awards, now in their third year, were presented to Dnata on the basis of their quality service and expertise in languages and skills.
Call Centre timings extended
DUBAI Trade, the end-to-end online service provider, has extended its call centre timings to seven days a week from 7am to 11pm. The call centre will soon be working 24 hours.
The call centre, which offers services to online customers of Dubai World subsidiary companies such as DP World, Economic Zones World (EZW) and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), in addition to Dubai Customs, earlier used to work from 7am till 11pm six days a week.
Accord to promote enterprise
THE Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Palestine Information and Communications Technology Incubator (PICTI) to initiate joint efforts for encouraging and stimulating entrepreneurial activity within Palestine and across the Arab world.
The MoU was signed in Dubai by Sultan Lootah, Vice-President of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, Entrepreneurship and Employment sector, and Laith Kassis, General Manager of PICTI.
The agreement complements the foundation's endeavour to establish an Arab Incubators' Network to mobilise efforts for closing the unemployment gap and promoting enterprise, productivity and innovation across the Arab world.
