745 accidents in Fujairah last month
FUJAIRAH — Four people were killed in traffic accidents in Fujairah last month and 1,447 traffic offences were registered in Fujairah last month with a total of 10,456 black points issued to motorists, according to Fujairah Police statistics.
The figures indicated that 745 accidents took place in March, in which 545 vehicles were involved in collisions.
"Four people were killed and around 50 people were injured in these accidents," the figures indicated, noting that a majority of accidents involved motorists who were travelling at high speeds, followed by neglect of seatbelt rule.
