Gamco wins Tunisian Air Force deal

ABU DHABI Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company (Gamco) has won a contract from the Tunisian Air Force to carry out heavy maintenance on the Lockheed C130 B&H aircraft.

Making the announcement during the eighth edition of (IDEX 2007) GAMCO's Chief Executive Officer Saif Al Mughairy said that Gamco has extensive technical expertise in carrying out similar aircraft maintenance. Additionally, this contract is important to the company and it will expand its defence business in North Africa.

"We will maintain best quality record for all of the Tunisian Air Force requirements. We have already demonstrated our ability to deliver C130 aircraft on time and to a very high standard under the current maintenance contract from Lockheed Martin," the GAMCO CEO said.
