The conference will commence on March 3, 2008 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This was announced at a Press conference yesterday at Dubai Police Academy.

The event will be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and chairmanship of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

The conference will focus on four main topics — knowledge creation and human resource management, fast forward technologies in education and training, socio-economic trends, and knowledge work environments.

Among the speakers would be leading international and regional experts who will address human resources development managers from public and private sectors, academics, researchers, and business professionals.

Strong representation is expected from Japan, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Korea, which is participating for the first time in the world congress.
