13 schools established in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI — Thirteen schools have been constructed at a cost of Dh320 million to reach out to students at the Abu Dhabi Educational Zone, thanks to the initiative taken by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and General Shaikh Mohamad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

“The schools that will come into being from the coming academic year can pride themselves over acquisition of the state-of-the-art equipment, laboratory facilities and Internet connection,” said Mohammed Sultan Al Dhaheri, Director of Abu Dhabi Educational Zone.

The project has been put in place following extensive study to assess the academic needs of students, and ways and means of providing them with the wherewithal to cope with the contemporary demands of academic courses, he said.
