What book(s) are you reading right now?
Right now, Mindy Kaling's Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me (And Other Concerns) is beside my bed, and I am listening to the audiobook of Ruby Wax's A Mindfulness Guide for the Frazzled. When that's done, I'll be starting Moving by Jenny Eclair.
What are the books that have changed your life and shaped your outlook?
The Wrong Boy by Willy Russell, plus lots of Marian Keyes books inspired me to become a fiction writer.
Name the books that you would want to pass onto your kids to read and treasure?
Alice in Wonderland, because it unlocks the imagination like no other story! I also love the messages in Winnie the Pooh.
Books that you never tire of reading and re-reading?
There are too many books in this world to read so I don't re-read anymore. However, I read Little Women over and over as a child. If I had to re-read one book, I think it would be Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. Other than the incredible pace and intriguing setting, it has the most unbelievable twist halfway through the story, so I would like to re-read it just to try and see it coming!
A book you believe every person must pick up at least once?
Harry Potter... then you can join in the intense conversations at dinner parties with other Harry Potter readers and keep your imagination young, open and inspired! Don't be on the grey outside of Potter - instead, be a frustrated Muggle waiting for the owl to bring you surprising news.
