Entries open for UAE youth artist award

The Cultural Office of Shaikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is now accepting entries for the annual 'Young Artist Award.'
The award, now in its 10th year, is open to all UAE residents, aged between 18-30 years.
All entries must be submitted online at www.youngartistaward.ae no later than October 31, 2016. The annual visual arts competition, aimed at ensuring the continued growth of a thriving art community in the country that coincides with the vision of the UAE leadership, is divided into four categories: Fine Art, Photography, Multimedia and Design.
An exhibition of 100 shortlisted artworks will take place in December. The winners will be selected by a distinguished panel comprising prominent figures of the UAE.
