UAE nationals can now obtain a visa to the Republic of Paraguay upon arrival at the airport, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said, wam reported on Tuesday night.
Ambassador Ahmed Al-Dahi Al-Dhaheri, Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, said that the Ministry received a diplomatic note from the Embassy of the Republic of Paraguay containing the decision of the Government of Paraguay to grant UAE citizens a visa upon arrival in their territories for tourism for a period not exceeding 30 days.
The visa fee is $100, which payable at the airport upon arrival.
This initiative of the Government of the Republic of Paraguay reflects the international status that the UAE has assumed and emphasises the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
