Iraq war cost both sides dearly and left America wary of any intervention
The UAE Embassy in US on Thursday issued an advisory for Emirati citizens in Washington, asking them to stay away from protest areas in the city.
The embassy also advised its citizens to abide by the curfew decision starting from 6 pm today until 6 am on Thursday, January 7.
In case of an emergency, Emirati travellers are requested to contact (202) 243-2400.
The advisory comes after supporters of US President Donald Trump stormed the US Capitol building where Congress meets in a bid to overturn the results of the Nov. 3 election won by Joe Biden.
