AJMAN — As part of its development projects, the Ajman Department of Municipality and Planning (ADMP) will adopt waste management and recycling system to maintain clean environment in the emirate.

Unlicensed vendors selling Omani sweets despite ban

DUBAI/AJMAN — Despite several warnings issued by the Ajman and Dubai municipalities, unlicensed mobile vendors of Omani sweets continue to ply their trade in Al Quoz area of Dubai and Al Jarf area of Ajman. The vendors, who usually appear during Eid season every year, come all the way from Oman to sell their sweets as they make good profit from it.

Prices of sacrificial animals up by 30pc

AJMAN/SHARJAH — With just five days to go for Eid Al Adha, traders at the animal markets in Sharjah and Ajman have raised the prices of sacrificial animals by 20 to 30 per cent.

Ajman remained free from air pollution in 2005

AJMAN — The air pollution detector positioned in the premises of Ajman Civil Defence Department has revealed that Ajman City was air pollution-free throughout 2005, said Brigadier Salih Al Matroushi, Director-General of the Department.
