Surveillance cameras lead to 60pc reduction in Ajman traffic offences

AJMAN - Traffic violations have come down by 60 per cent in Ajman following the installation of 30 surveillance cameras on the roads last year. Around 200 violations used to be recorded daily before the cameras were installed and now the number has reduced to around 80 per day.

Paid parking in Ajman from today

SHARJAH - Paid parking will come into force in Ajman on Wednesday. The Ajman Municipality and Planning Directorate will start operating 90 paid parking devices on three main roads, Omar bin Omair Al Muhairy, Director of the Public Works, said on Tuesday.
