Premier institutions at eighth edition of The Great India Education Fair in Abu Dhabi

Asians constitute the largest student community in the UAE but the dilemma of choosing the right university or college after high school mostly remains unanswered. Moreover, the rising numbers of NRI students in UAE opting to study in India has made India one of the most lucrative and preferred destination for higher and school education.

To answer the queries of thousands of aspirants planning to study engineering, medical, management and other new-age careers in India, The Great India Education Fair (TGIEF) will be organised in Abu Dhabi on November 22-23, 2019, at Hotel Crowne Plaza after successful editions in Sharjah, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.

TGIEF, organised by India Trade and Exhibition Centre (ITEC), Sharjah and Afairs Exhibitions & Media Pvt. Ltd. from India, will provide an opportunity to the students and parents to interact face-to-face with the admission authorities of over 20 most prominent institutions from various parts of India.

Thousands of parents and students from different parts of UAE attend the fair to explore the opportunity of the best schooling and higher studies option back home in India and also to know about the various intuitions, new-age courses, admission criteria, cost, scholarships, placements, etc. through interaction with school principals, admission counsellors and admission authorities.

"Our exhibition is the perfect platform for parents and students in the UAE to connect with the authorities of Indian educational institutions directly on a face-to-face basis," said Sanjeev Bolia, founder and managing director of Afairs Exhibitions & Media Pvt. Ltd.. He believes that this exhibition is as much a platform of opportunity as it is one for generating awareness about the merits of Indian education.

The Great India Education Fair will exhibit some of the premier Indian universities, colleges and higher education institutions, offering varied academic, professional and vocational programmes. Some of the participating institutions are Manipal University (Manipal), Vellore Institute of Technology, SRM University (Chennai), Sri Ramachandra University (Chennai), Acharya Institutes (Bangalore), Jain University (Bangalore), NITTE University (Mangalore), UPES (Dehardun), Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (Pune), Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (Gandhinagar), and many more.

The fair will also showcase some of the high-ranking and well-known residential schools in India such MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul (Pune), Birla International School (Kishangarh), Omega International School (Chennai), Career Point Gurukul, The Sports (Bengaluru) and many more. These will offer International Baccalaureate (IB) and the IGCSE international board curriculums, as well as the India's ICSE and CBSE board curriculums. With the promise of providing excellent infrastructural facilities, teaching staff, grooming, outdoor activities and sports, these schools will also offer 'spot admissions' and spot counselling facilities' at the exhibition, besides featuring some of the leading exclusive girls' schools in India.
