Abu Dhabi T10: Delhi Bulls to play for pride
Eoin Morgan's side take on the Qalandars in their last fixture of the Super League phase on Friday
The Delhi Bulls will be playing for pride and looking to wrap up their campaign with a win in the Abu Dhabi T10 League on Friday.
Eoin Morgan's side take on the Qalandars in their last fixture of the Super League phase at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Friday. And coach Stephen Fleming said that they would look to finish off with a win and go back to the drawing board for next season.
"We did not have time to gel together," Fleming said after the team lost to the Maratha Arabians on Thursday night.
"It was really individual performances. We probably lacked a stand out player in form," he added. The T10 format still is a learning curve for the Kiwi, who has been hugely successful in the IPL.
"I am learning a lot. It is frustrating but the game is exciting. The skills on show has been very impressive so, from an entertainment point of view, it has been good because of the balance between bat and ball. This year, we have seen some good strategy with the bowling," said the former Kiwi captain.
