The UAE World Firefighter Challenge 2016, organised by the Ministry of Interior and 911 Challenge event management, is opening its doors to the public for the first time and is looking for the fittest men and women in the country to participate. The challenge will see members of the public test their endurance and fitness to the max as they take on the gruelling course set up for professional firefighters. If you succeed, you can win up to Dh100,000 and bragging rights for being the first ever winner of the challenge! The first step of the WFFC Public Category is a baseline challenge that involves intensive exercises to be done within 35 minutes. If you last that, you qualify for what has been termed the "toughest 2 minutes in sport". Anyone can register at selected Fitness Firsts until February 16. Mad About Dance Institute (MAD) is offering couples a very special dance workshop to prep for that Valentine's Day night out.
