Sample this delicious fusion of sweet, chocolatey, and creamy elements: a marshmallow-infused whipped cream and milk chocolate sauce, blended with traditional Frappuccino ingredients of coffee, milk, and ice, all topped with more marshmallow-infused whipped cream and a graham cracker crumble - sound divine? We think so too!
Starbucks launched its S'mores Frappuccino across the MENA region last week in response to "numerous customer requests after its widespread success in the United States".
Complementing its release are the all-new Teavana Shaken Iced Teas. Encouraging customers to "shake up their iced tea", both the Raspberry Green Tea and the Strawberry Lemonade Tea feature infusions of natural ingredients that are brewed specially to reveal the invigorating underlying flavours, giving respite from the summer heat. Bliss!
Is that guy for real?
Visit Modhesh World this weekend to experience a rare act that is happening in Dubai for the first time. The Human Slinky, a creative and unusual act of its kind, is a spiral, colourful and comical, high-energy illusion that will be a treat to watch for kids as well as adults. Kids will love the visuals of the quadruped slinky as it rolls, sprawls, spills and dances across the stage, while adults struggle to figure out where exactly the human is inside the costume.
Entry fee: Dh35. Show times: Thu-Sat, 9-9.30pm.
Work vs play
From July 17 to October 29, the public is invited to join in Nadi Al Quoz, a summer to fall programme based at Warehouse 90 at Alserkal Avenue, a casual space for unwinding, thinking, talking and meeting new people. Nadi Al Quoz is thematically inspired by the twin concepts of work and play and the notion that play is the antithesis of work. Play is a free activity; it emphasises imagination, absorbs the player intensely and allows him/her to step out of 'reality' into a temporary sphere of activity and pursue it for its own sake. The programme features a number of contemplative and lively events including listening sessions, a critical reading and discussion group, salon-style talks and hands-on
public workshops.

Brand new campaign
Fashion icon Alexa Chung and legendary photographer Peter Lindbergh have gotten together to collaborate Longchamp's for the Autumn 2016 advertising campaign for the second time - and they're all about embodying Parisian glamour.
Sporting the new collection's key items, the alchemy between the duo is clearly at work. The first visual spotlights the Pénélope Fantaisie bag, reflecting the typical Parisian café atmosphere. Its blend of velvet and smooth leather reveals a modern, graphic reinterpretation of the Pénélope line.
An iconic visual will mark the second highlight of the season for Longchamp: Alexa wearing the new red Paris Premier bag. Luxurious finishes such as a lambskin lining, refined details like the brass accessories, and an exceptional sheen give this bag a timeless elegance.
The gift of giving
Chuck E Cheese's summer charity campaign is hosting a donation drive that encourages the community to gift toys and clothes for those in need - and it's going to last all the way till Eid Al Adha in September.
Those interested can locate the donation boxes within the brand's outlets in Oud Metha and Ibn Battuta Mall. The gifts will be donated locally to the Senses Residential Care Home for Children with Special Needs - and regionally to communities abroad through Emirates Red Crescent.
In addition, the kids from Senses will be hosted at Chuck E Cheese during Eid Al Adha for a fun-filled event of laughter, love and entertainment, during which they will also be able to collect, in person, the kind-hearted gifts gathered from the community.
