The critically acclaimed film Hunt For The Wilderpeople tells the story of Ricky, an orphan boy who finds himself forming a deep bond with his new foster family. His life changes when a tragedy ensures that he has to move out. Poetic in its storytelling, the film has been directed by Taika Waititi and will be screened on January 13 at The Yard, Alserkal Avenue around 7pm. Entry is free.

In Riding Madly Off In All Directions, a play that will be staged at the Centrepoint Theatre, DUCTAC, the Shah family comes together to tell five different tales that are as humorous as they are dark. The play, based on a set of stories written by British-born Canadian political scientist Stephen Leacock, stars Naseeruddin, Ratna Pathak, Imaad, Vivaan and Heeba Shah in important roles.
