Can't get enough of food festivals? Well, here's one every foodie must attend. Eat the World DXB is here to enthrall tastebuds between February 23-25 at Burj Park Park, Downtown Dubai. The three-day food festival will have a bit of everything, from food stalls and artisanal markets to an outdoor cinema featuring food-themed films! Those wanting to learn a thing or two about cooking are sure to enjoy demonstrations from famed chefs such as Woo Wai Leong (MasterChef Asia winner) and Bjorn Shen, chef at Artichoke and Bird. Fashion exhibition Divalicious is back! Clear your schedule on February 18, for there's going to be a real fashion extravaganza at Taj Hotel, Business Bay, where over 50 exhibiters will be showcasing the latest trends in apparel, accessories, décor and lifestyle products. This year, celebrity designer JJ Valaya will be unveiling an affordable luxury prêt range (between Dh600-2,000) which will be available exclusively at the event. Ready for the origami camel challenge?
Guests at Emirati restaurant Aseelah, Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek, are in for a treat. The restaurant will be providing them kits to create the Aseelah Camel - a delicate origami creation - and for every camel made, a 2-for-1 main course can be claimed. Moreover, you can take a picture of the camel and post it on social media, tagging Aseelah and using the hashtag#AseelahCamel, to win a stay at international Radisson Blu properties. Calling all little superstars
Wafi Superstars 2017 will give those aged between 4-16 the opportunity to present their best, be it in the category of Dancing, Singing or Performing Arts. Parents can register their kids by downloading an application form on www.wafi.com. They have to submit the filled-out form with a short performance video at any Wafi Customer Service desk, after which selected kids will be invited for an audition (to take place between Feb 24 - March 10). One winner (or group) in each category, stands the chance to win prizes!
