My mother's feet are really badly chapped and dry. She hasn't done a pedicure in a long time and doesn't really get the time to do one either. It's made her feet get really rough. Do you have a simple remedy she can follow that will restore her skin back to normal?
- Aliya
Brush her feet sole upwards with a dry body brush. Dip her feet in a basin with warm water mixed with 1 tablespoon Epsom salt, 1 tablespoon baking soda and 1 cap baby shampoo. After 10 minutes, rub the feet with a salt scrub; follow with a feet massage using a few drops olive oil (feet should still be wet when starting the oil massage). Dry feet gently, making sure the oils are not ripped from the feet. Done twice a week, her feet will look great. She must also apply a thin layer of glycerine to her feet every night and wear cotton socks (overnight) to keep her feet nicely moisturised. This is the best treatment for your mum's feet to look nice and well-groomed.
My beard grows in patches. How can I make it grow thickly and consistently all over my cheeks, instead of here and there?
- Sajan
Hair growing in patches is sometimes due to fungal infection on the skin or even stress or poor circulation. Massage your face with a few drops of warm castor oil and leave overnight. An aloe vera mask applied on the face twice a week will also help cleanse the skin thoroughly, and help with growth.

My hands have gotten really rough. I'm not sure why. But I'd really like soft hands. Please give me a solution.
- Vimala
Mix sugar with almond oil, and scrub your hands with it every day. It will help exfoliate dead skin, and transform dull, rough skin, making it soft and smooth.

Can you recommend a hair mask for me? I have long hair but it's usually bushy or a mess. My colleague has naturally sleek and shiny hair that's always so bouncy. Unfortunately, I haven't got those genes. So, is there a natural remedy to get the same effect? Please help.

My best mask for a rich sheen is avocado purée massaged into hair. Pack the hair in a cling wrap or shower cap, and comb through before you shampoo. Hair will have sheen and grow even healthier.

Body odour is directly linked to your stomach issues or your gums. Bite on crunchy fruits and vegetables. Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water daily, and when you wake up, drink a couple of glasses of warm water added with lemon juice and honey (this will cleanse your stomach). When you give a final rinse to the body with water, add a few drops of lavender or sandalwood or lemongrass oil to leave a soothing, lingering fragrance on the body.
