The next time you have the urge for something sweet,  don’t reach for the usual desserts — treat yourself to a cupcake. But not just any old cupcake. Go for the sugary bliss that is Sugar Daddy’s sweet creations. Despite the name, this is not a kiddy joint; the treats on offer here are taken very seriously indeed. While many bakeries offer cakes alongside other treats, Sugar Daddy’s dedicates itself entirely to them. With decadently sweet stuff all around and a refreshing, colourful background, you will be transported to another world where the focus of life will be to strip off the paper cup and dig your teeth into that luscious cream and cake mix. Needless to say, the treats are delicious, although they can be a little too sweet for some, if we are honest. The variety of cupcakes is vast and can leave a first-timer in a confused state. Our best rated cake was Red Velvet, which also happens to be the staff’s recommendation, and Kity-Katy, which is filled with chunks of chocolate. The frosting on top of all the cakes is heart winning and covered with sprinkles. Inside, the seating is minimum, with just a few chairs and a table or two. But then again, who needs a classy ambience to enjoy a cupcake? Next time you are on the look out for desserts, stop by for a sugary treat.
