Heriot Watt power to inter-university title

Heriot Watt put up a splendid all-round performance as they thrashed Amity University by nine wickets to emerge champions in the Ramada Gulf Cup Inter University T20 cricket tournament. The tournament is being held under the aegis of the Ajman Cricket Council at the YTCA Durham Cricket Academy in Ajman.
Amity University, who batted first, were bundled out for 102 runs. Heriot Watt bowling duo of Muqeet Butt (3 for 19) and Ronak (2 for 21) reduced the Amity batting line to a mere formality. Omer Mohammad's knock of 24 with support from Sintu (17) and Kunal (14) is only what Amity had to cheer about.
In reply, Chirag Suri's unbeaten knock of 50 steered Heriot Watt to 104 for the loss of one wicket. Adnan Khan (26) and Rohit Singh (20 not out) were the other scorers for Heriot Watt.
