Abu Dhabi - Over 265 battled it out and focused on standing triumphant after the second Group Stage on November 14 trying to earn a place in the knockout phase to be played on November 28.

 Du Football Champions (duFC) - the only platform offering UAE young footballers the opportunity for an international football career - witnessed intense competition among Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western Region teams, a Press release said.
The Abu Dhabi group stages of the nationwide UAE Schools Cup, the official schools cup of the UAE and the UAE Streets Cups attracted over 3,000 aspiring young athletes from Abu Dhabi on Saturday and the Western Region on Thursday. Over 265 (combined teams in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain & Western Region) battled it out and focused on standing triumphant after the second Group Stage on November 14 trying to earn a place in the knockout phase to be played on November 28.
Michel Salgado, Championship Director and La Liga Global Ambassador, said: "My eyes have been on the most talented players that du Football Champions is bringing together every week.
"My team and I are spotting top players for scouting and for being part of world-class training in Spain. I am looking for committed players who can one day play in La Liga."
The du football Champions will continue next week on November 21 at Al Ain Football Club and Zayed Sports City where it will wrap up the group stages.
