Mansour honours Felix (Wam) / 10 December 2012 Shaikh Mansour bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum honoured on Saturday evening the Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner who beat the world records on free fall skydiving and became the first skydiver who managed to break the sound barrier across the world. Mattar Mohammad Al Tayer, deputy chairman of the Dubai Sports Council also attended the commendation ceremony, which was held in Meydan.
Shaikh Mansour bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum honours Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner. — Wam Felix has been honoured on occasion of attending the Dubai World Skydiving Championship Mondial 2012 which came to an end on Saturday and has been hosted in Dubai for as long as 11 consecutive days. Shaikh Mansour also honoured the French skydiving team who took part in the Dubai World Parachuting Championship and claimed seven medals, which included five gold. |
