Brazilian striker Nilmar has denied ever receiving an offer to join Al Nasr this summer and insisted he's more than happy to stay at his present club Internacional.
The 31-year-old forward was reportedly on his way to Al Maktoum Stadium last week after the Blue Wave lodged a ?3.5m bid for his services.
He had seemingly been lined up as a replacement for Nasr's AWOL Senegalese frontman Ibrahima Toure, who has failed to return for pre-season training for a second year in succession.
However, it would appear that tentative transfer talk is well wide of the mark, with Nilmar telling reporters back in his native country that no amount of money could convince him to up sticks to pastures new.
"I haven't received any offers from anyone," the former Brazil international commented.
"I have been in this profession for 12 to 13 years and every six months, I have seen such stories, attributing rumours.
"But, I have always made it clear that I chose to come to this club and I am happy here."
Nilmar's contract at Internacional runs for the next two years through until 2017, but - such is his contentment with life back at a club he's represented twice before - he wishes he'd committed to longer.
"I have signed a three-year deal, but I wish I had signed for four," the ex Al Rayyan and El Jaish striker explained.
"This club is my home and I want to stay. No amount of money can make me leave this club.
"I have had a very good career financially. If I leave, it is because the club president has made that decision.  "So, I have to keep doing my job to make sure the president doesn't sell me."
