The second Test against Pakistan in Dubai starting on Friday, will mark a first for Sri Lanka.
The island nation will play their first ever day-night Test when they take on Pakistan over five days at the 'Ring of Fire' - the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The Test match will start at 3pm before finishing under the lights late in the evening. The second Test runs from October 6 to 10, with ticket prices starting from as low as Dh20.
A day-night Test is not new for Pakistan, though. They played a day-night Test against the West Indies last October, which they went on to win by 56 runs. That was the second day-night Test to be played in cricket's history.
The day-night Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be the sixth overall and the second this year after England hosted West Indies at Edgbaston in August. Three more day-night Tests have been pencilled in with Australia taking on their old nemesis England at the Adelaide Oval, as part of the Ashes in December, South Africa meeting Zimbabwe on Boxing Day and New Zealand hosting England at Eden Park in March next year.
Meanwhile, after the day-night Test, Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in the first One Day International at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on October 13. And it will be the first time Pakistan will be seen in action in an ODI since winning the ICC Champions Trophy in England in June this year. Pakistan fans will get opportunity to witness their star performers to revive memories of that victory against India The Oval.
Tickets for the ODI at Dubai International Cricket Stadium start from Dh50.
Season packages are being introduced for the first time to enjoy both Test Match and ODI matches in one ticket. Season ticket prices starts from Dh90. All tickets can be purchased from Q-tickets.com.
