Civil forces in Cairo contained the fire inside Giza Zoo in the early hours of Sunday, Al Arabiya English reports.
Flames erupted inside Giza Zoo, a popular destination for Egyptians during Eid, after a wooden booth inside it had caught fire.
The fire reportedly erupted inside a wooden booth then extended to several trees nearby, security forces quoted by Egyptian media said.
The video footage of fire was shared by several social media users.

Sources said no animals were harmed in the blaze and no evacuation was carried out.
Giza Zoo is Egypt's biggest and oldest zoological garden. Opened in 1891, it contains a wide variety of animals and rare plants and trees from all over the world.
