UAQ Ruler honours winners of Quran award

His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, honoured last night’s winners of the third edition of the Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mu’alla Award for the Holy Quran and Islamic Culture.

Khaleej TimesIn his address to the evening, which was attended by Shaikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, and other Shaikhs and officials, Shaikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees, said about 130 contestants from the UAE and other expatriate residents from 15 countries vied for the top honours.
