On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) hosted a series of religious lectures delivered by Sheikh Mohammed Abdurrahman Al Oraifi at its headquarters. The lectures were attended by a number of senior officials and staff.

The lectures, which are part of Dewa’s initiatives and social responsibility, aim to maintain national identity and social cohesion and promote awareness on Islamic values related to Ramadan, as well as strengthening the spirit of solidarity, intimacy and tolerance among all staff.

During his lectures, organised by the Internal Communications Department in collaboration with Dewa Women’s Committee, Sheikh Al Oraifi covered topics including the secrets of Ramadan, advice for women who are fasting, and several religious topics such as approaching Allah, being good to your parents and advocating against injustice.

At the end of the lectures, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dewa, thanked Sheikh Al Oraifi for his contribution and efforts.
