Etihad Aviation Group (EAG) hosted last week its 'Road to Happiness' initiative for the fifth consecutive year. Dozens of EAG executives and staff volunteered in the Tafseer Camp on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi to distribute more than 3,000 Iftar meals to labourers.
The event, organised by the Sports and Social Committee, aligned itself with the values of tolerance and mutual understanding among cultures and people in the UAE, bringing the spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan.
Boxes of dates were also given out last week to 1,800 workers at Abu Dhabi International Airport as part of a planned 'Sharing Day' event in collaboration with Emirates Red Crescent, the Group's long-term strategic humanitarian partner.
