The Olympic rowing races have been postponed due to adverse conditions here on Sunday.

According to the organisers, racing was postponed and will not take place on Sunday due to technical installation difficulties caused by the strong winds and the forecast for the afternoon which indicated adverse weather conditions, reports Xinhua.

A new schedule is being prepared.

On Saturday, high winds caused Serbian pair Milos Vasic and Nenad Bedik to capsize.

And several athletes like Zimbabwe's Andrew Graham Peebles and Australia's Kimberley Brennan, in men's and women's single sculls, respectively, complained about the rough conditions.
