A collection of more than 10,000 pieces of jewellery, including the heaviest gold ring in the world, golden replicas of the iconic Burj Khalifa and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque are on display in Gold Souq Dubai.

"We have a unique collection of jewellery crafted in gold, diamonds, precious gems and pearls, handpicked from over 20 countries. About 400kg of gold and 3,500 carats of diamonds worth Dh40 million are on display in Aristry, a branded jewellery exhibition," said an organiser of 'Artistry,' a branded jewellery show in Dubai.

The Najmat Taiba or Star of Taiba is the world's largest 21 carat gold ring, weighing 63.856kg and studded with precious stones. That, along with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in gold - a replica of the third largest mosque in the world in 18kt gold - and Burj Khalifa in gold, a replica of the tallest building in the world, are among items displayed at the Malabar Gold & Diamonds store at the Gold Souq.

Najmat Taiba was created by Taiba for Gold & Jewellery Co. of Saudi Arabia. The ring is mounted with 5.1kg of precious stones with the rest of the weight in gold, and is supported by World Gold Council, UAE.

Diamond lovers can see a 25.08 carat and a 17.12 carat single solitaire diamond valued at Dh1.7 million and Dh950,000, respectively.
