Heavy rains once again lashed parts of UAE on Saturday, according to the national met department (NCMS).
As the weekend came to an end, rains lashed parts of UAE's Fujairah and Khor Fakkan yesterday and today as well.
The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) had forecasted rain in UAE this weekend - providing some respite to residents.
The NCMS shared that the day will be partly cloudy in general with light to moderate winds. Some parts of the country might see rains as convective clouds may form. The amount of clouds is also likely to increase by late night and Saturday night.
Motorists have been cautioned to drive carefully and stay away from water pools near the eastern highlands.

Earlier today, NCMS forecasted cloudy weather accompanied with some convective clouds and different intensity rainfall over scattered areas.
Moderate winds will blow in general, freshening at times, especially in case of convective clouds, and may cause blowing dust/sand over the exposed areas at times. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.
