Fog and mist covered parts of the UAE in the early hours of Wednesday, including coastal and western areas of the emirates.

The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has warned against fog formation that could bring visibility down to less than 1000m at times. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution.
The forecast for today is fair weather in general during daytime, mild by night while being partly cloudy during the afternoon mainly over the eastern mountains and adjacent areas, the NCMS said.
Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during afternoon and may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.
The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation.
Maximum temperatures will surge to 40°C inland, with lows of 17°C expected in the mountains. Humidity levels could be as high as 95 per cent.


Sea will be slight to moderate becoming rough by afternoon in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
