It is going to be a hot and humid day in the UAE today, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has said.
The NCM, in an online statement online, said: "The weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy in general with a slight increase in temperatures, which are expected to reach highs of 47°C internally and 41°C on the coast."

In Dubai, temperatures are forecast to reach highs of 42°C with lows of 29°C. Abu Dhabi will have highs of 41°C and lows of 28°C, while in Sharjah the temperature is expected to reach up to 42°C with lows of 27°C.
The lowest temperature recorded over the country today morning was 21.1°C in Damtha at 5am.
The maximum humidity would be 60 to 80 per cent across coastal, 55 to 75 per cent in interior regions and between 55 to 75 per cent in the mountains.
Winds reaching speeds of 38kmph are also likely in some areas. Northwesterly winds might blow dust and sand over some exposed areas.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
The NCM has also released a weather forecast report for the coming days. The prediction is that the weekend will be partly cloudy with a significant increase in temperatures over the western area.
