Motorists are advised to tread carefully as they make their way to work today. Early morning showers have drenched roads across UAE. This may have an adverse effect on road traction.
In fact, the effects of rain are already seen. Al Ittihad Road in both directions from Dubai to Sharjah are facing massive tailbacks this morning. Expect slow moving traffic from Al Mulla Plaza all the way to Sharjah City Centre.

Meanwhile, Dubai Police has issued an accident warning along Airport Road inbound to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. They have also advised of congestion buildup.
