Winter has truly hit the UAE as many parts of the country, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, were covered in thick, dense fog on Monday morning as well.
Earlier, the national met agency, NCMS, has forecasted foggy weather to continue over the next few days.
The met agency took to Twitter to inform residents about the fog's formation across the country, with satellite images showing patches of fog descending over the UAE:

Motorists are urged to drive cautiously and passengers are urged to check their flight status on http://bit.ly/UAEWeather and Dubai Airports on Twitter for the latest information regarding flights.
The detailed weather forecast for today is fair to partly cloudy weather over some areas. Moderate winds, freshen at times over western sea areas.
The relative humidity is likely to increase by night and tomorrow early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with chance of fog/mist formation to continue the next few days.
Mercury to drop to up to 12°C while the maximum temperature is expected to be 28°C 
Sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf becoming moderate by night and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.

Motorists were forced to drastically decrease their speed on many major roads across the country on Mondaymorning as fog impacted visibility.
