Fog engulfs UAE in the wee hours of the morning

Many motorists faced low visibility on roads, but there were fewer cars plying due to the weekend.

UAE residents woke up to a thick blanket of fog in part of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Many motorists faced low visibility on roads, but due to the weekend, there were fewer cars plying.
National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology had posted reports of fog during the early hours of the mornings in many areas including Minhad, Ras Al Khaima, Sweihan and Liwa.
By dawn the fog was visible in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
