The Ambulatory Healthcare Services, a facility of Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has announced the start of rendering 'preventive' medical checkup by its mobile clinic.
The mobile clinic will visit the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority on Tuesday, for three days, to perform preventive checkups to nearly 150 Emirati nationals working for the authority.
He added that cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority comes in line with the endeavour to put the strategic partnerships into practice to make it easy for Emiratis to benefit from the preventive services, which could help them understand how their health is, and thus enable them to improve their lifestyle and maintain their health and avoid diseases.
The checkups include filling a questionnaire, undergoing a clinical check-up and other medical tests, which uncover the factors that lead to heart and vascular diseases. Among these tests are the blood pressure test, body mass indicator, blood sugar, cholesterol rate in blood, vitamin D, kidney functions and smoking state.
