Dubai gets a new health care group

Dubai - Philipines-based health care group The Medical City (TMC) has partnered with Kuwait's Sama Medical Services, to open its first polyclinic in Dubai.

A new health care group is all set to offer its 'world-class' service to the residents of Dubai.
Philipines-based health care group The Medical City (TMC) has partnered with Kuwait's Sama Medical Services, to open its first polyclinic in Dubai as part of its expansion plan across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Jose Xavier B. Gonzales, CEO of The Medical City for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Treasurer of the Board of Directors, said: "This region has a fast-growing need for medical services and we at The Medical City looks forward to making available our world-class patient care right here in the GCC, starting with Dubai." The Medical City network comprises five hospitals and 38 satellite clinics across the Philippines, with international presence in the US territory of Guam and the Middle East and on-going projects in Southeast Asia. The network serves over 50,000 in-patients and 1.5 million out-patients every year. It has more than 1,500 medical staff complemented by 5,000-strong medical support human resources.
