82 defibrillators installed across UAE

Abu Dhabi - Community members have been trained to operate the defibrillators.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has deployed 82 automatic defibrillators in different locations across the UAE to deal with emergencies and heart failure cases.
Community members have been trained to operate the defibrillators. Lt. Colonel Omar Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Chief of the Training Section at the Emergency and Public Safety Department, at the Central Operations Department, Abu Dhabi Police, said installing these defibrillators comes in realisation of the vision of Lt.-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
